Source of hardware words

　　Originally referred to five metals. "Hardware" first appeared in the "Wu Yue Spring and Autumn" four "Helu Internal Biography": "Minister Wen Yue King often made Ou Yezi five swords,…… A Zhi Lu, hardware, the essence of the sun. According to the note "gold, knife, turtle and shellfish" in the Book of Food and Goods of the Han Dynasty, "gold is said to be five colors of gold, yellow is said to be gold, white is said to be silver, red is said to be copper, bronze is said to be lead, black is said to be iron."

　　The modern Chinese dictionary explains that hardware refers to gold, silver, copper, iron and tin, and generally refers to metals. Nowadays hardware is commonly referred to as metal or copper and iron products. The further application of metals has played an important role in the development of human civilization and society. Metal products appear in every corner of economic life, political life and military activities. For example, Yongkang, Zhejiang, has been called "the hometown of hundreds of workers" since ancient times, and the Hardware handicraft industry has a long history. Since the Southern Song Dynasty, there have been Yongkang bronzers and blacksmiths traveling south and north to make a living. Historically, there has been a saying that "hardware craftsmen go around the country, prefectures and counties do not leave Kang".
